Access MKE ZOO is a program created by the Zoological Society in partnership with the Milwaukee County Zoo, offering financial aid, free zoo days, free class and a multitude of different opportunities to families in need of support.
I designed the giraffes in the logo to represent a guardian and a child. I wanted to show the pair having a relationship, but not key into a specific one. I did this so that the older giraffe could portray a parent, teacher, sibling, etc, to demonstrate that everyone and anyone can be apart of Access MKE ZOO.
I designed the logo to be friendly and welcoming by using soft curves and a more minimalistic style. I also used the shapes of the giraffes to hide an A in it's negative space.
